Terms of Service

Effective Date: 4/21/2025

Sod Market Direct - Sod Supplier for Georgia and South Carolina

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your purchase of sod from us. By using this site, placing an order, or receiving a delivery, you agree to the policies below.

 1. Services Provided

We supply and coordinate the delivery of fresh-cut sod from our partnered farms to residential and commercial customers throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Sod availability is subject to seasonal supply, weather, and farm harvest schedules.

 2. Ordering & Payment Policy

- Orders must be placed through our website or by contacting us directly.

- Full payment is required 48 to 72 hours before delivery to confirm and schedule your order.

- Accepted Payment Methods: * PayPal Business Invoicing: Secure credit/debit card payments. No PayPal account required. * Cash: Accepted only if the customer is local to or willing to meet in Carroll or Douglas County, GA.

- We do not accept ACH transfers, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or personal checks.

3. Large Orders & Site Requirements

- We accept large or custom pallet orders if the site has enough safe and accessible space for the entire quantity.

- We do not "spot" pallets in multiple areas. Sod is dropped curbside only, where public access meets private property (e.g., driveway entrance or roadside).

- If there is not enough space and sod blocks access or creates a hazard, the customer is solely responsible for moving it immediately.

 - We are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from blocked or improperly stored sod

4. Delivery Policy

- We strive to deliver on the scheduled date, but weather, farm schedules, and third-party freight delays may affect timing. - Delivery includes curbside drop-off only.

- The customer must be present or have someone available unless prior arrangements are made.

- We do not handle or move sod after it is offloaded. - Once sod has been cut, in preparation, or in transit, the order becomes final and non-refundable.

- Refunds will not be issued for delays outside of our control such as trucking or harvest-related issues.

- We are not responsible for any property damage during delivery. All deliveries are handled by third-party drivers or companies, and any damage claims must be addressed directly with them.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

- Orders canceled more than 72 hours before delivery may be eligible for a full refund if sod has not been prepared or cut.

- Cancellations made within 72 hours of delivery are typically non-refundable due to farm and logistics commitments.

- No refunds will be issued once sod is scheduled, cut, or in transit.

- All refund requests are subject to review and approval.

6. Post-Delivery Responsibility

- Once sod is delivered, it becomes the customer's property.

- We are not responsible for any damage, spoilage, or death of sod after delivery.

- Sod is perishable and must be installed and watered immediately to avoid drying out or deterioration.

7. Photos & Website Content

Some images used on our website are sourced from farms, vendors, or public sources. We make no claim of exclusive ownership over all photos and do not restrict their reuse.
